Usually two fang marks are seen on poisonous bites. The snake should be identified. The injured area should be immobilized with a splint and a loose constriction should be placed three inches above the bite. Incision and suction should not be done. A tetanus shot may be needed. You should see a physician as soon as possible. Shots made from horse serum may be used. Make every effort to keep the person calm.
